| Built 1948-55, a 9 1/2 inch long hopper with painted body with white heat-stamped letters. Staple-end or bar-end trucks. Brake wheel. These little hoppers were a Lionel mainstay, It seems that almost every set made in the early post-war years came with one of these little beauties. These cars are models of the coal cars from the old days and todays trains too, frequently found in solid trains of coal cars as well as mixed in trains with other carsProduced from 1949-1959 they have been fully checked out by our service department to ensure years of fun for you and your familyA great hit with kids. |
